While going through the above article I realised that it is a very significant step taken by the Delhi government in order to promote green buildings if not to a great extent but to give it a push. I think not only Delhi but in other states too the governments should make policies to mandate sustainable construction of new buildings and also to imbibe it in the existing buildings if not completely that at least partially. Few months back a significant step was taken by mandating rooftop solar power systems in order to reduce energy consumption form the grid supply.
